The Bullshit List

“He who spews bullshit shall be generally hated” – somewhere in the Bible, probably

Who are the most infamous at the moment for rhetorical bullshit? We keep track here. Ranking subject to change.

3. The Entire Bush Administration: Gets props for 8 years of manipulation but doesn’t hit number 1 because it was all too easy to see through. If not for intense hatred for Lou Dobbs or tragic flustered feelings for Hillary Clinton, would be world’s ranking champion.

2. Lou Dobbs: Self-proclaimed fighter for the middle class speaks to CNN at the crack of 8:00 AM from his study in Princeton. Complete with globe and pretentious looking bookshelves. Hates American “middle-class values”, apparently.

1. Hillary Clinton: The Queen of Spin; tragic figure who had it all going for her but fell to inappropriate rhetoric to grasp for votes. And not only spin but flat-out lying (Bosnia) and bad cover-up (I was pretty tired). Made inappropriate comparisons at every turn (Holocaust victims and blue-collar workers). We sincerely wish that she was the 5th worst and not the 1st.

Those who get points for “Straight-talkin’”

3. Barack Obama & John McCain: Though will and have tragically twisted some things for votes, overall have good intentions. May fall into the Bullshit list by November but looking forward to their debates.

2. The Daily Show: What is the best way to talk the truth? Make a joke.

1. Chase Utley, Philadelphia Phillies 2B: “My dad always told me you don’t need to tell people how good you are,” Chase said. “If that’s the case, people will tell you.” Not only leading the majors in homeruns as of the 1st week in June, but doesn’t ever flinch at an inside pitch. Plays hard and never takes credit for it. Utley for President!
